Yes. ;-))
BTW, I'm working on some general CDD scripts and according to some advise I've
got from Jonas Smedegaard <dr@jones.dk> at Extremadura workshop I switched to
python-genshi templating system which is on one hand packaged inside Debian and
on the other hand seems to be more widely used than HTMLTemplate. Moreover
I try to approach static HTML pages as the generated result (which just contain
the translations) because it is terribly boring that our firewall here regards
the PHP pages as active content and takes 10-20 seconds to content filter the
pages. :-( Just for your information:

but there is nothing ready ...

OpenDental is not "written from scratch" ;)
It has a number of users on Windows, and also works on Linux, AFAICT.

But I remember somehow that you considered this as dead end. I admit I
don't know any details - so I completely trust your knowledge. If you
think you are able to form a Linux community around this project it
would sound perfectly reasonable.

Years of Windows programming :p

So you gained the main qualification to apply for a job in our institute ...

Well, I'd need that software for myself, at least! ;)

This is a really good start and a strong motivation but as I said there
are projects out there which are running in only one practice ...

Kind regards

        Andreas.
