In debichem we have one such package: molden (just the Debian packaging
files). ATM we are going to provide a howto or a script for users to
compile molden from SVN via svn-buildpackage. IMHO it's at least not a
bad idea to provide the necessary packaging files and a manual, how to
create the package from them.
