Hi,
matrix.c in libecat:
static char sccsid[]="@(#)matrix.c 1.11 6/7/93 Copyright 1989 CTI, Inc.";
/*
* Modification history :
* March-1996 : Sibomana@topo.ucl.ac.be
* Add ECAT V70, Interfile and Analyze support
*
* 5-Aug-1997: Sibomana@topo.ucl.ac.be
* Add Error Handling facility provided by Helmut Lucht (MPI-Koeln)
* 1-Jul-1999: Sibomana@topo.ucl.ac.be
* Adopt 7.1 time encoding for dose start time (i.e sec since
01-01-1970)
*
*/
m-matrix.c in xmedcon
/* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
* filename: m-matrix.c *
* *
* UTIL C-source: Medical Image Conversion Utility *
* *
* purpose : CTI source for handling ECAT 6.4 files *
* *
* project : (X)MedCon by Erik Nolf *

* Notes : Source code addapted from CTI PET Systems, Inc. *

So my guess is, that we best get approval from CTI, that the original source
is open-source and use libmdc further on. amide also uses libmdc for dicom
(and gif). ecat7 support is on the to do for xmedcon. So maybe amide could
switch then over to libmdc totaly.
