I don't think so. We already have the version of Jessie in Wheezy
backports and I've looked into the dependency list. See

so this should be doable…

…although I agree here too. One exception would be people relying on it
on the desktop for e.g. sandboxing or running proprietary OSes but then
QEMU in Wheezy is not really fit for this either.

So supporting  Xen and targetting QEMU/KVM for Jessie LTS makes most sense
to me.
