Actuallx on Gnome DVD, Orca may be installed. It should be also on MATE,
lxde, xfce DVDs. Less useful for KDE as not accessible at all.
The thing is that the live should include brltty and, indeed, a key to
enable speakup just like the installer does.
So yes, beep and "s" is a good idea. This "s" should also enable Orca
automatically at boot of the DE.
About the install process, it means that running it from the desktop
should, if Orca is enabled, run the text one. If braille is enabled,
ncurses one should be run. Otherwise, the classical graphical one, which
is not accessible today.
Hypra tried making a kind of accessible DVD with Debian, MATE, Compiz,
Orca, and brltty. But we don't use it so much, because a lot of random
bugs at boot, language keyboard problems, sometimes the screen reader
doesn't start, etc. If it can help to 9ork:
