Re: Closing on the Jessie Cycle and Starting the Jessie+1 Cycle

Hi,

Quoting myself from a previous mail in the same thread:

The tiny little bug was that several calls to the shell were run in a
subshell while building the manuals from the .po files. Moving these
information bits to their own target fixes the issue.

In short, the scripts worked fine, but the Makefile results were not
very reliable because they were processed too fast (before completing
other tasks).

Now that it is fixed in git, the results are 100% reliable. There are
currently four complete translations of live-manual: Catalan, Spanish,
French and Japanese. This is an excerpt from the shell output while
processing the manual:

live-manual is currently being translated into 9 languages.
The translation of these languages is complete: ca, es, fr, ja,
There are 3015 untranslated strings. You can run 'make translate'.
There are 244 fuzzy strings. You can run 'make fixfuzzy'.

You didn't reply to the mailing list. Have you decided what to do? I
mean, will you contribute to the Italian translation of live-manual so
that Italian can be added to the list of complete languages?

This is the current status of the Italian translation:

chals@odd:~/git/debian-live/live-manual$ make translate
Counting untranslated strings...please wait...

There are 3015 untranslated strings in live-manual.
This script can help you find and fix them. What is your language?.
