No. I think he's saying we don't know what we're talking about, which is
different. At no point did I say he claimed we were lying.

Did that ... "installer images are for developers, not users". That's
all the technical and conceptual background you need to grasp. You can
choose to accept it ... or not. It appears he has chosen not to.

I would not recommend that. Nor will I support it. Nobody in the Debian
support community relishes the thought of helping users debug problems
solved months ago. You use what's currently in the repository or you do
without it. If, in an emergency you need a few things from snapshots,
that's what it's there for, but building a whole image from it is an
enormous waste of time.

Aggressive? Defensive? How about just plain PO'ed. Clearly, you think I
enjoy restating myself ad infinitum, and have all the time in the world
to do it.

This thread has become a big time-suck. I am tired of it, and frustrated
to be spending additional time re-explaining the same things we already
explained before:

I've just restated the same thing in different words. How many more
iterations will we need? I'm sorry you don't like my tone, but I'm not
happy, and you need to know that. Let's just move on, please.

Ben
