Package: live-helper
Version: 2.0~a9-1
Severity: minor

During build live-helper keeps printing

E: Can't process file /sbin/fdisk

I don't have a fdisk and should not need it for building an iso.

Hi,

when you're building images on powerpc (all other archs don't have that issue as there fdisk is part of util-linux which is essential), you get a warning that fdisk is not available, whenever your config tree is parsed. this is reasonable. since your build would fail once you build anything but a iso image.

what unreasonable is, is, that lh currently parses the config for every helper invocation, instead of once for a whole lh sequence. this is on the todo and will be implemented in some time. until then, i don't consider this to be a bug, but a cosmetical dislike of yours (that you can easily workaround by installing the recommends of live-helper for powerpc, gnu-fdisk).

Regards,
Daniel
