err? are you including *commands* in that file?!

you have to *export* the key *into* that file.. check the section in the
manual about using live-initramfs snapshots for reference.

again, not had any problems with local packages (see manual for tips
about reporting bugs if you think it doesn't).

maybe it would be worthwile if you could stick with one method, persue
that and make it work, rather than using two methods at the same time
and doing everything wrong one could do wrong.
