problem with 'customization' here is, that we actually do not customize
debian.

having a non-default nodhcp/nonetwork/whatever option to speed things up
is ok, however, changing default settings of other debian packages is not.

if default settings of debian packages should be changed, and it's
reasonable to do that in general, then bug reports against those
specific packages are ment to be filled.

also, isn't it possible to run dhclient in the background anyway, or
does this require insserv?
