Woops, sorry, Zenwalk (slackware downstream) handles it well.  It
appears to be handled by sky2 kernel module there.

sky2 0000:30.0: v1.21 addr 0xd0200000 irq 18 Yukon-FE (0x67) rwl
sky2 eth0: addr [MAC address]
...
sky2 eth0: enabling interface
sky2 eth0: Link is up at 100 Mbps, full duplex, flow control rx

lspci says:

  03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. \
       88E8036 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (rev 10)

I figure an insmod sky2 is worth a try (untested).  I'll report back.
