I'm just too new to all this thing, so it might yet take some time for
me to have usable ideas. But I try hard :-)

Thanks! this is very enlightening. And yes -- bind-mount seems the way
to go.

BTW. I noticed that things got *way* faster[1] now. And I can't put all the
blame on network bandwidth.
