Severity of wrong GPL version?

Hi all,

I've just discovered an error in the copyright file of a package I maintaine
(openttd). The copyright file says it is distributed under GPL, version 2 or
above, while upstream only distributes under GPL version 2. This issue has
been present since around 2006 and affects versions in stable, testing and
unstable (not oldstable).

It should be evident that this issue should (and will) be fixed in the next
package upload. However, these issues will then still be present in previous
versions. Considering that they are licensing issues, should I take extra
effort to get a new version into lenny to fix the GPL version issue, or is it
minor enough to let it slip?

Gr.
