News to me as well; I was *at* DebCamp and DebConf.

The issue of the GNU FDL even came up during one of the presentations;
Jonas Oberg of FSF Europe was asked about it point blank.

Well, I guess if the DPL and RM have made up their minds, there's no
point in anyone else being involved, eh?
