you have some lines in your /etc/apt/sources.list pointing to 'stable'
instead of 'sarge' - on 08/04 stable=etch and ... boom!

either you get back to sarge, or go on upgrading to etch, in which case
you need to move on to a more recent kernel too - ie 2.6.18-*
