Re: Configuring Network
Hello Clive!!!
I'm using static.
ifconfig results:
eth0 Encapsulamento do Link: Ethernet Endereço de HW 00:C0:9F:88:E6:52
inet end.: 192.168.0.1 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Masc: 255.255.255.0

My system is in portuguese because I'm brazilian.
The line before the last line of eth0 has RX bytes:0 (0.0 b), what I
think it's because the network card didn't receive any packages.
When I type /etc/init.d/networking restart comes:
Setting up IP spoofing protection: rp_filter.
Reconfiguring network interfaces...ifup: interface lo already configured
done.
aspire:~# eth0: Media Link On 100mbps full-duplex
This last line hangs and I have to type CTRL+C to return to the shell.
Regards
