How about checking the manufacturers website, most of them do have pretty good
support. Especially IBM has all kinds of downloadable stuff there including the
HMM's (Hardware Maintenance Manuals) and if I'm not too badly mistaken Toshiba
is pretty good on support too. The HMM contains everything and the kitchen sink
for the model it was written for.
