Re: xdm modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-13
I have googled it, but just nothing has come out of it. Don't worry about
it. I need this as a server and I can xterm into it from another machine.

As root execute
# update-rc.d -x xdm remove
It will remove all the symbolic links in the rc* directories.
