Hello,

thanks for your answer.

Unfortuantely, i can not reproduce this manually. cpufreqd is still 
running after restart of syslogd and logrotate :-(.
Therefore, it has stopped working in the meanwhile at night (i.e., 
without any of these events).

Any further ideas?
