problems with firewire

Hi!

I would like to use the firewire port with a Compaq nx9010
laptop, but I failed to
load the kernel modules needed for the port. When I tried to
load the
ohci1394 modul, the kenel hung up. I got this message:

PCI Enabling device 00:0c.0 (0010 -> 0012)
PCI Found IRQ 11 for device 00:0c.0
PCI Sharing IRQ 11 with 00:0a.0

ohci0394_0: OHCI-1394 1.1(PCI): IRQ =3D[11]
MIMO=3D[d0003800-d0004000] Max
Packet=3D[2048]

I tried to change the irq setting, because the windows XP
uses the irq 10 for
the firewire. The insmod ohci1394 irq=3D10 command said,
that the modul doesn't
has a parameter named irq.

I tried to use many different versions of the kernel, but I
have the same
problem with all of them. Now I' using the version 2.4.24 with a
Debian/testing linux. Could anybody help me?

Thanks
Ga'bor Hamar
