You can install the backported Xfree86 packages from Adrian bunk. See
http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/packages/ 

Add the following to your sources.list:

deb http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/debian woody/bunk-1 main contrib non-free
deb-src http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/debian woody/bunk-1 main contrib non-free

and install the xfree packages from there.
