I think they way your are specifying the key may be wrong.
Try changing the KEY and adding an IWCONFIG line like this:
KEY="0000-0000-00 [1] key 45e8-fc21-51 [2] key 0000-0000-00 [3] key
0000-0000-00 [4]"
IWCONFIG="key [2]"
I'm using an Orinoco Silver connecting to both Linksys wireless router
and whatever they use here at work.
