Yes, eth0 is built into my Thinkpad an eth1 (and wifi0) is a Cisco
Aironet 350 PCMCIA card.
Before I started using ifplugd I had to wait for DHCP to time out
before my machine would continue booting. Now eth0 isn't brought up
before ifplugd detects a link on eth0.

I am using ifplugd, also. I would like to change my routing tables to use the wired connection when it is available.

I would come to this point:
my ifplugd stuff works fine with my wireless and wired interfaces,
but I would like to prilege my wired interface ASAP.

Is there a way to get ifplugd to do this? Unfortunately, I haven't found much in the ifplugd manuals to help me on this.
