You lost me, stoped using what feature?  Perhaps I should have been
clearer, by "suspend" I mean "suspend to disk" (aka hibernate) not
"suspend to ram".

I get the panic when running the "hibernate" command (well script) that
came with swsusp.  Iirc talking directly to  /proc/kernel/sys/swsusp 
gives the same behavior.
