S-video/scart....solved
Hi folks.
Thanks a lot for all your suggestions and help.
I've finally solved the problem with the help of the guy of the
electronics shop who had made the first s-video/scart cable that didn't
work. He made a new cable and told me that he had put some capacitors
between the two entrances of the I don't know what luminance in the
s-video plag. In this way, he said, you don't respect the impedence of the
cable (i don't know what I'm talking about). Anyway, I think the main
point is that in this way the cable converts the s-video signal from the
laptop to a signal which is readable by the tv through scart socket.
Anyway, I tried it in the shop and it worked. I'll see at home now. I
don't know if any of you has any better explanation for this.
Cheers to everyone
Alessandro
