I run samba on my linux machines, which makes it trivial to write tar's
to my windoze boxes.  Just create a directory on the win2k machine for
your linux backups and share it, then use smbmount to mount the shared
directory under linux.  Set TGTD in the above script to point to the
mounted directory.  You can even add the smbmount command to the above
script, with an smbumount at the end.

If you don't know what samba is, it lets you both access Windows shared
directories on other machines on your network and share linux
directories with those other machines as if the linux directories were
Windows shared directories.
