Re: fritz!card pcmcia with woody

Hi Jord, hello List,

I compiled with Kernel 2.4.19 with pcmcia network (for my network adapter) and isdn pcmcia according to the documentation of README.avmb1 in the sources.

The modules in the kernel sources mentioned to need to get the avmb1 up and running were loaded without complaints. But when I insert the card, the usual pcmcia regognizing beep (like inserting my network adapter) doesn't come. Also, in the /proc/capi20 there is my driver mentioned, but no adapter.

Since I have a fritz!card pcmcia (which sould be compatible to avm b1 pcmcia) and no b1 pcmcia, is it possible, that this is the source of my trouble?

Since I got no errero, warning or info messages, I guess that something is missing, probably my kernel-configuratgion is wrong, or I need further configuration for the pcmcia regognition.

Jord, could you please mail me your kernel-configuration for 2.4.19 ?
