I assume a driver conflict between the internal trackpad and the "IMPS/2" driver, since the mouse itself works fine with a Dell Inspiron 2500 laptop. The BIOS of my machine doesn't have an option to turn the trackpad off (unlike the Dell). Do you know of a way to disable the trackpad when a PS/2 mouse is connected, in software of course? -Andre
