It probably is on my Inspiron too, but not so you'd really notice.
Battery & AC info works, it suspends & hibernates, it recognizes LID,
Power & Sleep buttons.  If I could get it to do all that under Linux I
wouldn't care if the ACPI implementation was actually broken :-)
