Check that CONFIG_X86_UP_APIC (Advanced Programmable Interrupt 
Controller) support is not set in the kenel. Also make sure AGP 
(CONFIG_AGP) support isn't running when you suspend, which sounds like 
your problem since it's related to X. Check out
