well someone forgot to compile in support for 'VGA text console". If you
forget this then the machine just boots up with a blank screen until you hit
X. :)
Now go and 'redeem' yer self :) Don't worry most of us have done this :) I
recommend when you do 'make menuconfig' (I hope you don't use the horrible
'make xconfig' :) ) press '?' over options you are unsure about and it most
of the time will give you some helpful advice on whether you need the feature
or not.
