Assuming you have upgraded all required packages (A. Bank things),
issuie of moving 2.2 to 2.4 involves modules.  If not updated modutils
etc, and what you have is WS, just upgrading to WOODY solves dependancy
issue.

Then, make sure to include module names to put into your /etc/modules
files or used with "isa-pnp" and "yenta_socket"

Without poking around kernel source and and files under /lib/modules, it
was a magic to find these requirements  :-)
