 Weird... I've successfully installed 2.2 on my 7020.... Don't
remember doing anything special, but what you might try is go
into bios setup and disable the cache until you have a custom
kernel up and running. Remeber being forced to do that on lots
of Toshibas.  Be warned that it is very slooow without the cache
enabled.
