Re: How to use touch pad and mouse?



Hi Eric,

usually a touch pad is using the same PS/2 port an external PS/2 mouse is 
using (/dev/psaux). My HP Omnibook does some scanning at bootup. If the
external mouse is connected it disables the touch pad. If I boot it without
the mouse and connect the mouse after bootup, both - touch pad and mouse - work
simultaneously.
