Hmm...

I just picked up a Dell Latitude CPt, and so far so good, with one exception...
I have a Xircom RealPort (tm) CardBus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56 card,
and, although it's found by the potato pcmcia stuff, the card doesn't pass
packets. Until... I did ifconfig -a, and noticed that it was racking up
a lot of packets, both Rx and Tx, so I did 'tcpdump -i eth0' and got deluged
with the traffice on this segment. At that point, killing tcpdump, the
card started to work normally!! This is reproduceable, if I pull the card,
reinsert it, ping doesn't work until I tcpdump the interface. WTF???
Any pointers?

Thanks,
Tim
