apt-get dist-upgrade-except-foo1[-and-foo2] ?

Hi all,

I get several responses, groupable in two solutions:

1) put the packages to hold;
2) mark my custom packages with epoch >= 1

Tried the first without success (actually I think I had them in hold when I
first wrote to the list); I'll try 2nd approach whenever I have a night to
spend :)

Thank you all for your quick responses,
JM
