acpid-071100 compiling error

Hi,

I've installed kernel 2.4.0-test5 on my Thinkpad to have a look at the ACPI features.

But i'm havink problems compiling acpid-071100 :

kahuna:/usr/src/acpid-071100# make all
make all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/acpid-071100'
Making all in acpictl
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/acpid-071100/acpictl'
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I../acpid -g -O2 -c acpictl.c
acpictl.c:32: popt.h: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type
make[2]: *** [acpictl.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/acpid-071100/acpictl'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/acpid-071100'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

I don't have any popt.h on my machine, i just have a /usr/include/libgnome/gnome-popt.h

I'm on potato.

did i forgot a package ? Is it possible to use a 2.4 kernel with a potato ? Everything else seems to work fine.

By the way ACPI is recognised by the kernel on my machine:

ACPI: support found
ACPI: PBLK 1 @ 0x1010:6
ACPI: 7 throttling states
ACPI: S1 supported
ACPI: S5 supported
ACPI: found EC @ (0x62,0x66,9)

Thank you for any help

Sébastien
