Installing packages by floppy
I've rescued a Toshiba 486 (200Mb HDD) from a skip at work, and have the basic
debian dist installed. I now have either to create a mirror on the HDD and
install the packages from there (I think I understand how to do this - split
and cat from the CD-ROM on my main machine). However, I'm sure it's possible
to run floppy installs from dselect, but don't understand how to prepare
floppies for those packages that are too big to fit on a single floppy. Is
there a naming protocol for splitting these files or am I missing something
really obvious.
Many thanks
Paul
