Qui la frase è molto simile alla struttura dell'originale, ma nella
traduzione la cambierei per avvicinarla al modello italiano:

rilasciata ufficialmente con &debian; 3.1 (<quote>sarge</quote>),
raggiungendo un migliore supporto all’hardware e alcune nuove e
interessanti funzionalità.»

In queste due metterei «bootloader» tra virgolette, magari con <q>.
