Hi Pavlos and Greek translation team

I'm very happy that we have a Greek translation of this issue of DPN
available! Count with me for any help you need for the
website/publicity translations (except for Greek language issues,
unfortunately I can't speak Greek).

Some notes about this DPN translation, and the website translations
in general:

* The wml file is accesible in the website repo now:

https://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/webwml/webwml/greek/News/weekly/2016
/02/index.wml?view=co

If you need to update that file (or any other), and have no
permissions to do it yourselves, you can send the updated file to
the debian-www@list.debian.org mailing list and we can commit it to
the repo. After a few successfully translations, we'll give you
permissions if you want, to commit the files yourselves.

* Please note that I have added a line to check version numbers
respect the English original, so the system can know if the
translation is up to date or not. In that line I've added Pavlos'
name as maintainer of the translation, but it's up to you to change
it (for example, if further updates are done by other person, or you
prefer to credit the team as a whole. It's also ok to leave it
blank). More info about how the translations are coordinated, and
how the website works, here:

https://www.debian.org/devel/website/

* I've also added a line at the bottom with the translator name. The
former translation line was "internal", but this one will be shown
in the Greek web page.

* It can happen that you see the Greek page not 100% translated,
even when you translated the whole wml file. Why? This is because,
for certain sentences that we repeat the same in every DPN (or
certain parts of the website), we use wml tags that point to other
files, and those ones may not be translated (yet!). Those files have
the Gettext syntax (.po files) and are available for translation (or
update) here:

https://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/webwml/webwml/greek/po/

I'm not sure which ones are used in the DPN in particular, but I
would say that at least, newsevents.el.po and templates.el.po.

If you want to work with .po files, I strongly recommend to use a
specific gettext editor (POedit, virtaal, gtranslator...), it's much
easier than editing the file with a normal text editor. If you don't
know which editor to use, I find POedit quick and simple.

Finally, if you want to contribute more translations for the
website, don't hesitate to contact me (or write to the Greek list
CC'ing me), and I can give you specific directions for the file you
chose to translate or update. You can see the status of the Greek
translation here:

https://www.debian.org/devel/website/stats/el

(The files are ordered by translation status and then by access
statistics, so the first ones are the most visited).

Even when the team is made of just one person, or when you are
CC'ing me or the www mailing list and thus writing in English, I
strongly recommend to keep debian-l10n-greek@lists.debian.org in the
"To or CC", because somebody may be lurking in the list or look at
the archives later to try to join the team, and your comments/work
will hopefully encourage him/her :)

Best regards
