bei Debian ist grad ordentlich was los, es gibt ein paar Nachrichten mehr als
üblich und wieder kann ich eine Übersetzung in den Ring werfen. Wie immer bitte ich

The Debian Project is pleased to announce that in the next few months
Bug Squashing Parties (<q>BSP</q>s) have been organized in several
countries.
The main focus of a Bug Squashing Party is to triage and fix bugs,
but it is also an opportunity for users less familiar with the BTS
to make other contributions to the Debian project, such as
translating package descriptions or improving the wiki.
Debian developers will be present to help contributors
understand how the project works and to help get fixes into
Debian.

<p>Das Debian-Projekt freut sich, bekanntgeben zu dürfen, dass für die nächsten
paar Monate in einigen Ländern Bug-Squashing-Parties (<q>BSP</q>s) organisiert
wurden. Das Hauptaugenmerk einer Bug-Squashing-Party liegt auf dem Aufspüren
und Beheben von Programmfehlern, sie ist aber auch Gelegenheit für Benutzer,
die mit der Fehlerdatenbank weniger vertraut sind, andersartige Beiträge für
das Debian-Projekt einzusenden, etwa übersetzte Paketbeschreibungen oder
Verbesserungen für das Wiki. Es werden Debian-Entwickler anwesend sein, die den
Mitwirkenden dabei helfen, die Arbeitsweise des Projekts zu verstehen und
Fehlerkorrekturen in Debian einzubringen.</p>

During the coming weekend, 17-19 February, a BSP will be held at the
<a href="http://www.irill.org/";>IRILL offices</a> in Paris, France.
This event will be also an opportunity for new
potential contributors to meet Debian Developers or Maintainers. Numerous
regular contributors will attend this BSP and can help newcomers to
fix their first bugs.
For organizational reasons, registering on the
<a href="http://wiki.debian.org/BSP2012/Paris";>Debian wiki</a> is
mandatory.

<p>Während des nächsten Wochenendes, vom 17. bis zum 19. Februar, wird eine
BSP in den <a href="http://www.irill.org/";>IRILL-Büros</a> in Paris,
Frankreich, veranstaltet. Dieses Ereignis bietet ebenso Gelegenheit für
potenzielle Unterstützer, Debian-Entwickler und -Betreuer zu treffen. Mehrere
regelmäßig Mitwirkende werden dieser BSP beiwohnen und Neuankömmlingen helfen,
ihre ersten Programmfehler zu korrigieren.

interested in attending it are invited to add their names to its

The following weekend another BSP will take place, on 10-11 March:

organizing a Debian Bug Squashing Party at the
<a href="http://www.ucc.asn.au/";>University Computer Club</a> in Perth,

Over 11-13 May, another Debian BSP will be held in the UK, at York.
