Ich weiß, "Backend" ist meist schwer zu übersetzen, aber vielleicht 
findest du noch etwas Besseres? Ich kenne MythTV leider nicht.

Das würde ich umstellen:
Bearbeiten Sie die Datei /etc/cron.d/mythtv-status, um einzustellen, wie 
oft die MOTD aktualisiert werden soll.
