<p>Nous espérons que vous apprécierez la seconde édition de la formule
renouvelée des Nouvelles du projet Debian. Nous avons déplacé une partie des
contenus, introduit de nouvelles rubriques, et en avons basculé certaines
autres sur le blog <a href="https://bits.debian.org/";>Bits from Debian</a>.</p>

<p>Bits from Debian présentera les nouveaux paquets et les entretiens, ainsi
que certains communiqués, et c'est là que nous accueillerons les nouveaux
développeurs Debian.</p>

<p>Nous prévoyons de diffuser plus de brèves sur le compte de notre réseau

<p>Un des changements les plus importants est le retrait des Nouvelles des

sécurité pour 2015</a>) ; aussi, nous vous conseillons de les lire avec
attention et de prendre les mesures appropriées.</p>

<p><b>FAI 5.0 publié</b></p>

<p>Après plusieurs mois de dur labeur, l'équipe de FAI est très heureuse
<a href="https://lists.uni-koeln.de/pipermail/linux-fai/2015-November/011147.html";>d'annoncer</a> 
la nouvelle version majeure 5.0.</p>

<p>FAI (« Fully Automatic Installation ») est un système non-interactif
pour installer, personnaliser et gérer la configuration des systèmes Linux
et des logiciels sur des ordinateurs aussi bien que sur des machines
virtuelles ou des environnements chroot. FAI est un projet ancien de Debian
qui a débuté en 1999.</p>

<p>La nouvelle image ISO de FAI prend en charge maintenant l'installation
de Debian 8 avec un bureau Xfce ou GNOME, d''Ubuntu 14.04 et de CentOS 7.</p>

<p>Lisez la liste complète des caractéristiques, téléchargez les images

<p><b>Des images Debian officielles pour Microsoft Azure</b></p>

<p>La plateforme Microsoft Azure soutient officiellement et prend en charge
Debian en fournissant sur leur place de marché officielle des images Debian
qui ont été crées par une collaboration entre plusieurs équipes Debian
(l'équipe Debian Cloud, l'équipe de marques déposées Debian et l'équipe
Debian CD), credativ GmbH (partenaire de développement de Debian) et
Microsoft.

<p><b>Le collecteur de Kernel oops est de retour dans Debian !</b></p>

<p>Le collecteur de Kernel oops de Debian est de retour dans Debian grâce
aux efforts de <a
href="http://balintreczey.hu/blog/kernel-oops-collector-is-back-in-debian/";>Bálint
Réczey</a>. Le collecteur du paquet kerneloops disponible dans
<a href="https://packages.debian.org/stretch/kerneloops";>unstable</a>,
envoie des rapports au <a href="http://oops.kernel.org/";><q>Linux Kernel Oops Service</q></a>
qui recueille les erreurs du noyau partout dans le monde et aide les
développeurs à trouver et corriger des problèmes du noyau qui ne sont pas
rapportés autrement.

<p><b>Compte-rendu de la Mini DebConf à la Latinoware 2015</b></p>

<p>Giovani Ferreira a rendu compte de la <a href="https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEvents/br/2015/MiniDebconfLatinoware";>Mini DebConf</a> qui s'est tenue le 15Â octobre 2015
pendant la <a href="http://latinoware.org/";>Latinoware</a> au Brésil.
Plusieurs développeurs Debian, Antonio Terceiro, Felipe Augusto van de
Wiel, João Eriberto Mota Filho et Thadeu Lima de Souza Cascardo, étaient
présents et ont présenté un certain nombre de communications sur le projet
Debian et les moyens d'y contribuer.</p>

<p>Ã? l'issue du programme, de nouveaux contributeurs et les orateurs ont
discuté de la manière de collaborer avec Debian particulièrement au Brésil
et ont tenu une séance sur <q>tout ce que vous voulez savoir sur Debian</q>.
En complément à la présentation, il y avait, à l'exposition, un stand
ouvert pour que le projet puisse accueillir les personnes intéressées et
distribuer ses produits.</p>

<p><b>Calendrier de l'avent de Debian Med</b></b>

<p>Le <a href="http://debian-med.alteholz.de/advent/";>calendrier de
l'avent de Debian Med</a> a débuté le 1er décembre et s'est achevé le 24.
Cet <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-med/2015/12/msg00006.html";>événement
annuel</a> vise à organiser une <q>chasse aux bogues</q> quotidienne dont
les résultats sont inscrits sur leur calendrier de l'avent. Cette année,
ils ont réussi à fermer plus de 50 % des bogues ouverts, soit 150 au
total ! Grand merci à tous ceux qui ont participé.<p>

<p><b>Résolution générale : mise à jour de la procédure standard de Résolution</b></p>

<p>La <a href="https://www.debian.org/devel/constitution";>Constitution
Debian a fait l'objet d'une proposition d'amendement et d'un vote à propos
des <a href="https://www.debian.org/devel/constitution#item-A";>procédures
de résolution </a>.
La proposition d'amendement, ses parrains et les résultats du vote ont été

L'équipe de Debconf16 est bien engagé dans l'organisation de <a

qui se tiendra au Cap en Afrique du Sud, en juillet 2016.

L'équipe de collecte de fonds de Debconf <a
href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/10/msg00001.html";>demande</a>
à chaque contributeur Debian d'envisager d'agir comme un promoteur de
Debian, en demandant à son organisme de parrainer la DebConf, surtout si
elle n'a encore jamais parrainé Debian ou si elle ne la pas fait récemment.

85,50Â heures en <a href="https://raphaelhertzog.com/2015/11/13/freexians-report-about-debian-long-term-support-october-2015/";>octobre</a>,
et 114,50Â heures en <a href="https://raphaelhertzog.com/2015/12/14/freexians-report-about-debian-long-term-support-november-2015/";>novembre</a>
suivant une courbe ascendante. <q>Maintenant le projet est passé de 50 % à 
65 % de son objectif d'un poste à temps plein grâce à un seul nouveau
sponsor</q> a déclaré <a
href="https://raphaelhertzog.com/tag/Freexian+LTS/";>Raphaël Hertzog</a>
en saluant, dans le compte-rendu mensuel de Freexian sur <q>Debian Long

novembre, le fichier dla-needed.txt recensait 19 paquets dans l'attente

moyenne de ces derniers mois.

Guido Günther a rendu compte de son travail pour LTS pour le mois <a
href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/archive/2015/09/";>d'août</a>, où il a
travaillé sur pykerberors, wordpress et s'est acquitté du tri de neuf sujets
parmi les <q>Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures</q> (CVE). En <a
href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/archive/2015/10/";>septembre</a>, il a
travaillé sur glibc et nss, avec neuf CVE. Pour le mois <a
href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/archive/2015/11/";>d'octobre</a>, il a
travaillé sur krb5 et le tri de 16 CVE. Il a aussi ajouté la prise en
charge de l'indentation des CVE et liste pour Emacs dans LTS sur son
propre temps, menant jusqu'Ã  <a
href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/Debian_Fun_in_November_2015.html";>décembre</a>
des tâches sur krb5 et nss. Ayant constaté que nss nécessite de fréquentes
mises à jour, il a introduit des tests d'auto-empaquetage et lancé une
discussion sur l'utilisation de la même version pour toutes les suites de
Debian.</p>

<p>Thorsten Alteholz a rendu compte de ses contributions LTS <a
href="http://blog.alteholz.eu/2015/10/my-debian-activities-in-september-2015/";>de septembre</a>
où il a Å?uvré sur une nouvelle version de php5, le mise à  jour de php5,
openldap et rpcbind. En <a
href="http://blog.alteholz.eu/2015/11/my-debian-activities-in-october-2015/";>octobre</a>,
il a travaillé à des mises à jour de freeimage, polarssl et libxml en même
temps qu'il a corrigé neuf CVE. En <a
href="http://blog.alteholz.eu/2015/12/my-debian-activities-in-november-2015/";>novembre</a>,
il a travaillé sur php5, libpng et libsndfile et sur d'autres bogues de
sécurité.</p>

<p>Le suivi à long terme de Debian 6 <q>Squeeze</q> se poursuivra jusqu'en
février 2016. Le cycle LTS de Debian 7 <q>Wheezy</q> est prévu pour s'étendre
de février 2016 à mai 2018.

<p><b>Ã?tat d'avancement des compilations reproductibles</b></p>

<p>Le projet des compilations reproductibles produit des <a

<p><b>Software Freedom Conservancy a besoin de donateurs !</b></p>

<p><q>Software Freedom Conservancy</q> (SFC) contribue à promouvoir,
améliorer, développer et défendre les projets de logiciel libre et à code
ouvert (FLOSS) et offre un hébergement sans but lucratif et une
infrastructure aux projets FLOSS.</p> 

<p>Au mois d'août dernier, Debian et Conservancy ont annoncé un
partenariat et formé le projet « Copyright Aggregation » en vertu duquel,
Conservancy pourra, entre autres choses, détenir les droits d'auteurs de
certaines Å?uvres de Debian et garantir leur conformité au copyleft pour que
ces travaux demeurent des logiciels libres.</p>

<p>Récemment, Conservancy a lancé une <a
href="https://sfconservancy.org/news/2015/nov/23/2015fundraiser/";>grande
campagne de collecte de fonds</a> et a besoin de davantage de donateurs
individuels pour obtenir un financement plus durable et indépendant. Cela
permettra à Conservancy de poursuivre ses efforts pour convaincre plus
d'entreprises de se conformer aux licences du logiciel libre telle que la
GPL et d'entreprendre les actions en justice quand le dialogue n'a pas
abouti. Conservancy a besoin de votre soutien maintenant, plus que jamais !

<p>One of the major changes is the removal of the DSA security advisories from
the newsletter. Debian's Security Team releases current advisories on a daily
basis (<a href="$(HOME)/security/2015/">Security Advisories 2015</a>), so
please read them carefully and take the proper measures.</p>

<p><b>FAI 5.0 released</b></p>

<p>After several months of hard work, the FAI team is very happy to
<a href="https://lists.uni-koeln.de/pipermail/linux-fai/2015-November/011147.html";>announce</a> 
their new major release 5.0.</p>

<p>FAI (Fully Automatic Installation) is a non-interactive system to
install, customise, and manage Linux systems and software
configurations on computers as well as virtual machines and chroot
environments. FAI is a long-standing project in Debian and was started in
1999.</p>

<p>The new FAI ISO image now supports the installation of Debian 8 with
XFCE or GNOME desktop, Ubuntu 14.04, and CentOS 7.</p>

<p><b>Official Debian Images for Microsoft Azure</b></p>

<p>The Microsoft Azure platform officially endorses and supports Debian,
by providing in their marketplace official Debian images, which are
 created in collaboration between several Debian teams (the Debian Cloud Team,
Debian Trademark Team and Debian CD Team), credativ GmbH (Debian development partner), and Microsoft.

<p><b>Kernel oops collector is back in Debian!</b></p>

<p>Debian's Kernel oops collector has returned to Debian thanks to the efforts of
<a href="http://balintreczey.hu/blog/kernel-oops-collector-is-back-in-debian/";>Bálint
Réczey</a>. The kerneloops collector available in <a href="https://packages.debian.org/stretch/kerneloops";>unstable</a> sends reports to
the <a href="http://oops.kernel.org/";>Linux Kernel Oops Service</a>, which collects kernel errors from all over the
world helping kernel developers find and fix kernel issues that otherwise are
not reported.</p>

<p><b>Mini DebConf at 2015 Latinoware Report</b></p>

<p>Giovani Ferreira reported on a <a href="https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEvents/br/2015/MiniDebconfLatinoware";>Mini DebConf</a> that occurred on October 15 2015
during <a href="http://latinoware.org/";>Latinoware</a> in Brazil. Debian Developers: Antonio Terceiro,
Felipe Augusto van de Wiel, João Eriberto Mota Filho, and Thadeu Lima de Souza Cascardo
were present and presented a number of talks on the Debian Project and ways to 
contribute.</p>

<p>At the end of the programme new contributors and speakers spoke about how to
collaborate with Debian specifically in Brazil, and an <q>everything you wanted
to know about Debian</q> session. In addition to the presentation we had a stand
available at the exposition for the project to receive stakeholders and 
distribute merchandise.</p>

<p><b>Annual Deb Med Advent Calendar</b></b>

<p>The <a href="http://debian-med.alteholz.de/advent/";>Debian Med
Advent Calendar</a> ran from December 1 through to 24. This
<a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-med/2015/12/msg00006.html";>annual event</a>   
aims at squashing bugs each day and marking them on their Advent Calendar. This
year they were able to close more than 50% of open bugs, 150 in total! Many
thanks to all who contributed.<p>

<p><b>General Resolution: Update Standard Resolution Procedure</b></p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.debian.org/devel/constitution";>Debian
Constitution</a> had an
<a href="https://www.debian.org/devel/constitution#item-A";>amendment
dealing with our resolution procedures</a> proposed and voted on. The
proposal of the amendment, seconds, and voting results were recently
<a href="https://www.debian.org/vote/2015/vote_003";>published</a>.</p>

We are well into the organisation of <a href="http://debconf16.debconf.org/";>DebConf16</a>,
which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, in July of 2016.

The Debconf Fundraising Team <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/10/msg00001.html";>asks</a>
every Debian contributor to consider acting as an advocate for Debian,
by asking your organisations to sponsor DebConf, particularly if your organisation
is either entirely new to sponsoring Debian, or has not sponsored Debian recently.

Long Term Support for Squeeze reported 71.50 hours of paid support in <a
href="https://raphaelhertzog.com/2015/10/16/freexians-report-about-debian-long-term-support-september-2015/";>September</a>,
85.50 hours in <a href="https://raphaelhertzog.com/2015/11/13/freexians-report-about-debian-long-term-support-october-2015/";>October</a>,
and 114.50 hours in <a href="https://raphaelhertzog.com/2015/12/14/freexians-report-about-debian-long-term-support-november-2015/";>November</a>
following an ascending curve. <q>Now the project jumped from 50% to 65% of the
objective of the equivalent of a full-time position with a single new
sponsor</q> said <a
href="https://raphaelhertzog.com/tag/Freexian+LTS/";>Raphaël Hertzog</a>
in the monthly Freexian report about Debian Long Term Support,
greeting the first Platinum sponsor: TOSHIBA (through Toshiba Software Development
Vietnam). These work hours are regularly distributed between eight paid
contributors: Ben Hutchings, Chris Lamb, Guido Günther, Mike Gabriel,
Raphaël Hertzog, Santiago Ruano Rincon, Scott Kitterman, and Thorsten
Altenholz. In terms of security, at the end of November, the dla-needed.txt
file listed 19 packages awaiting an update; the list of open vulnerabilities
in Squeeze shows about 22 affected packages in total, which is around the
average of the last months.
</p>

<p>Guido Günther reported on his contributed LTS work for <a href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/archive/2015/09/";>August</a>; he worked on
pykerberors, wordpress and the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) 
triage for nine CVE items. In <a
href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/archive/2015/10/";>September</a> he worked on glibc and nss, with nine CVEs.
For the month of <a href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/archive/2015/11/";>October</a> he worked on krb5 and the triaging of 16 CVEs. He also
added indentation support to LTS CVE/list Emacs on his own time, leading into
<a href="http://honk.sigxcpu.org/con/Debian_Fun_in_November_2015.html";>December</a> with work on krb5 and nss. After observing that nss requires frequent updates,
he added autopkg tests to the process and discussed using the same version in all suites.</p>

<p>Thorsten Alteholz reported on his <a href="http://blog.alteholz.eu/2015/10/my-debian-activities-in-september-2015/";>September</a> LTS contributions, work on a new
version of php5, a php5 update, openldap, and rpcbind. In <a href="http://blog.alteholz.eu/2015/11/my-debian-activities-in-october-2015/";>October</a> he worked on
updates for freeimage, polarssl, and libxml along with nine CVEs fixed. For <a href="http://blog.alteholz.eu/2015/12/my-debian-activities-in-november-2015/";>November</a>
he worked on php5, libpng, and libsndfile along with additional security
bugs.</p>

<p>The Debian 6 <q>Squeeze</q> long term support will continue until
February 2016. The LTS cycle of Debian 7 <q>Wheezy</q> is planned to run from
February 2016 to May 2018.
</p>

<p><b>Reproducible Build status/update</b></p>

<p>The Reproducible Builds project produces
<a href="https://people.debian.org/~lunar/blog/posts/";>weekly reports</a>
on package and toolchain fixes in the Stretch cycle.</p>

<p><b>Software Freedom Conservancy Needs Donors!</b></p>

<p>The Software Freedom Conservancy (SFC) helps promote, improve, develop,
and defend Free, Libre, and Open Source Software (FLOSS) projects and provides a
non-profit home and infrastructure for FLOSS projects.</p>

<p>Last August, Debian and Conservancy announced a partnership and formed the
Copyright Aggregation Project where, among other things, Conservancy will
be able to hold copyrights for some Debian works and ensure compliance with
copyleft so that those works remain in free software.</p>

<p>Recently, Conservancy launched a <a href="https://sfconservancy.org/news/2015/nov/23/2015fundraiser/";>major
fundraising campaign</a> and needs more individual
supporters to gain more sustainable and independent funding. This will allow the
Conservancy to continue its efforts towards convincing more companies to comply
with free software licenses such as the GPL and take legal actions when dialogue
turns out to be unsuccessful. Conservancy needs your support now, more than ever!
