Hi all,

the bug:

|  I found bad characters ( é è à ...) in the files:
|  /usr/share/man/fr/man8/apt-cache.8.gz
|  /usr/share/man/fr/man8/apt-get.8.gz
|  /usr/share/man/fr/man8/apt-cdrom.8.gz
|  ...............................
|  /usr/share/man/fr/man5/sources.list.5.gz
|
| I have corrected these files and now man works fine on these files, if you
| are interested I can send you the 7 files corrected.

I converted these files to text (like in man apt-cache > toto.txt),
spellchecked (aspell -lfr -c toto.txt), and have not found any issue with the
accents, except for sources.list, where one of the titles has an extra white
character before an accented capital letter: LA SP<C3>ÉCIFICATION DES URI

This is not visible when invoking man sources.list, but for instance after
piping to less:

LC_ALL=fr_FR.UTF-8 man sources.list | less

Hope this helps,
