After rebooting from a sarge netinstall with french locales some lines
on base config are too large for the screen (in the tasksel, ... selection).
The result is that all the lines beginning are missing (to show the end of
longer lines), and it makes the text difficult to understand ...

----- End forwarded message -----

The strings in question are in base-config's po/fr.po (not debconf),
the lines starting with dselect, tasksel, aptitude. Anything that could
trim those down would be good, space is tight and it needs to fit in 80
columns, minus the approximatly 7 columns that whiptail wastes on each
side.
