I am annoyed enough for just not wanting to invest more time in this package templates' review. Even more as I later changed the entire process (reporting a bug as early as possible) to fit Daniel wishes. This package was still using the former process because I hadn't time yet to polish the process. Since then, the new process is used and has even been used for another package among the gazillion maintained by Daniel. I am annoyed because I handled a full translation update round that required a significant amount of time from 8 translators of 8 different languages, without any kind of input from Daniel to at least stop the process and tell us "guys, you're going the wrong way". So, I am annoyed for my time and for Michal Simunek, Joe Hansen, Camaleon, Julien Patriarca, Miguel Figueiredo, Yuri Kozlov, Martin Bagge and Yunquiand Su. This for a package with 41 strings, which is really significant. I am annoyed because the new upload included partially modified templates with all translations referring to rephrased templates. I am annoyed because lintian warns about all that and, still, the upload happened. I am annoyed because the only answer I got was today's answer basically saying that our review was crap. So, as annoyed as I am, I will certainly *not* do anything more on this package. Period. Hopefully someone else in the debian-l10n-english team will have more patience than I have right now. Thankfully, it seems that Justin is a very patient person. Much mor ethan me, apparently. From now on, for this package, my only concern is trying to figure out whether I should launch the French team on the current templates and try to make a decent translation out of the current thing....or wait for wording changes after someone else than me proposes new templates (then cross fingers to figure out which of these changes are going to be really adopted). From now on also, it is quite likely that I refrain working on reviewing templates for some packages, as you may guess.
