We are -ize, sorry. That seems to cover the most common practice and
less prone to endless debates with maintainers. I really apologise(!) to
all of you en_GB people who are doing most of the work here....

Np. That's what LCFC are for. A final review. For instance, LCFC is
the step where I use a spellchecker on the files
