Lwat is a project created by the need for an easy way to maintain the
information stored in ldap on a Debian-edu/Skolelinux installation (or
alike).
Lwat is now in debian unstable, and in debian-edu testing.
Lwat is a php-application, built with localization in mind (Most of my
custommers use norwegian nynorsk, I myself use norwegian bokmål, but the
application is english)
Christan Perier (bubulle) suggested that I asked for help here on
debian-i18n-english, to get the english text proofread at first, then
later ask for translators.
The debconf templates are already proofread, and some translations are
already included.
All text-strings in the application is availble in the template

There is a demo availible at http://bzz.no/lwatdemo/
It has already some norwegian and german translations, so maybe it's
best to set your browser to english before accessing it.
I think you should be able to access most of the demosite without
authentication , but if you need an account, dont hesitate to look for
me at #lwat irc.debian.org (finnarne) or use the lwat mailinglist
There is also documentation there which should be proofread, accessible
either from the demo-site, or from CVS directly:
