Hello,
FYI, I have created a very compact (11MB) Knoppix 5.01 VMware virtual machine (vm)
with the vm-tools already installed using the official (but not included) ISO live CD/DVD
This vm can be used with the VMPlayer publicly available from vmware:

The installed VMware tools allow to use Knoppix 5.01 as one of
the fastest "free" Xserver for windows I have tried so far.
