Edit /etc/apt/apt.conf and in the appropriate line put "testing" instead of
"testing/unstable" for the choice of your prefered release :
APT::Default-Release "testing";
then
apt-get dist-upgrade
does the trick i think
Maybe some packages will stay in non-testing state, but globally you ll
have a Sarge machine :)
I discovered Debian with knoppix, so i m not sure 100% of what i say, but here
it worked fine, with many many things changed.
